It is what it is

I spent a pippety pip pip weekend at home, hanging out with him on friday at James Joyce, then Brixie's, then crazy Katie Tomafelony's house. Good times. We went out with Jazzercize and Jasolyn on saturday in Andersonville and met up with a very piqued James. He got yelled at by the bartender for having a flower in his coctail, that he had plucked out of a vase on the table. He completely devoured the other flower in the vase. In probable revenge the bartender served us a shot of the most bitter poison to ever pass my lips, telling us 'this one's on me...it's good for your stomach.' James immediately ran to the bathroom and vomited, while Philips chugged down his G & T yelling 'MAKE THE TASTE GO AWAY.' No dice, it only went away with time. Good trick, angry bartender.

On Sunday Brixie's was closed much to Mora and my chagrin. It was not only closed but there was an ominous looking cop car parked out front warning people not to even come near. Poor Brixie's, they're trying to drive the reliable old watering hole out of business because of their 4 am license and rough and tumble clientele. Brookfield's changing. We met with Jim, Kristen + Ross, and all headed to a new bar there. Very nice, got a nice buzz and played darts.

Now I'm waiting for Joe to get me from the computer lab and then it's off to Alexander's for some sweet early bird special steak.
