Strange Night, Good News, Sad news

First the good news! I got a hold of Cyncy and it looks like my standby tickets will be available in a couple weeks as I planned. If all things go well I'll be in Greece soon.

Strange Night: When I woke up this morning before I opened my eyes I felt a strange sensation. I was sleeping on something much rougher than my bed. I looked up and all of my blankets and stuff were on the floor on top of me. I have no idea how I got from the bed to the floor. I've never really slept-walked before and I wasn't drunk or anything when I went to bed so it wasn't a blackout. Weird.

Sad News: My great uncle John died last night after a long battle with cancer, RIP. Yesterday was the summer solstice, the birthday of my old friend Tom Sullivan who passed away a couple years ago. This time of the year is so enjoyable and festive - really the time and the weather I look forward to all year, and it's easy to forget about those we've lost, and not appreciate our own lives.

What's my point? Get outside and enjoy the weather - you're alive!
