My parents weren't home today which was sweet - a nice hassle free time to get some shit done. I've been working a lot in my room packing up stuff, putting it in boxes. I've got to get everything out and to the lakehouse for storage in preparation to leave. The standby flight to Greece from New York is looking like it's going to be a royal pain in the ass. I'll be able to get the ticket by tuesday but it is not advised to fly standby during that time. Translation: I'll be spending a lot of time in some airport in New York. My mom asked what I would do if I was just stranded there, and the truth is that I'd never even considered that a possibility. Stranded is a term used for those with somewhere to go, though, so I'm not that worried. It'll be like that lousy Tom Hanks movie - I'll live in the airport! Maybe I'll affect a bad accent too.
So that's it, I guess. I may or may not have to give Bri a lift home from the airport tonight. Tomorrow we're off to Lake Geneva - I'll be driving my Grandma there. It's a big party hosted by a family close to ours - the McCrackens. It should be something...
It is what it is

How long will you be in Greece for?
have a spectacular time in greece. if you find yourself stranded in ny, i have a sofa with your name on it. maybe even a beer and some cap'n crunch, too.
will, how soon are you leaving and how long will you be in greece? just curious if we're going to be able to share a drink at brixies any time in the next year or two.
