Save the Spindle

The Tribune reports that a developer is going to tear down the iconic sculpture 'Spindle' by the artist Dustin Shuler to make way for some stupid shopping development. I hope there is some chance of saving this sculpture made famous by 'Wayne's World'. We need to respect art and preserve it for the future, and it seems criminal that this kind of thing can happen. Isn't this piece worth keeping around for the interest it attracts? That's got to bring some people to the shops there.

Oh well, who wants to take a trip to go out there and take some pictures before the end of the summer (and the spindle)?

I don't even own A gun, let alone many guns to necessitate an entire rack. What am I gonna do...with a gun rack?

I'm up for a trip to Aurora. Let me just get my TB and anti-AIDS shots first.

It's in Berwyn - way closer than Aurora. Steph - have you really not seen it? Tommy - we should drive out and see it when you come. It's way close and weird.
