Hi again all of you out there in TV land. So it has come to my attention that certain people have read my blog and been offended by my portrayal of them. The word 'vapid', used by the author in the sense of 'empty', was particularly noted as offensive. An attack was launched via AIM against my person and my portrayal in my blog account. There are some important points to note:
1) I won't be deleting posts after I write them even if I do not like the content in retrospect.
2) I will post and I have posted at a time when I feel particularly heated or perturbed - maybe a a reader could take this into account when they read these particular posts. Have you not felt something very strongly and said or thought things that may be considered extreme later? Well, my therapy is writing these things down. Get a sense of perspective and don't take it so seriously.
3) I don't want to fight back or continue some kind of state of animosity, all I want is non-involvement. It is less the problem of these particular individuals than it is my problem. I feel that the worst in me is brought out during our interactions. Also, I enjoy leading a life devoid of dramatic confrontation and argument - something that these individuals use to diffuse difficult situations. It is not the way that I like to deal with things. I must emphasize this: I'm not being sarcastic and I'm not passing judgement. Please believe me.
And that's it, that's all I'm going to say about that shit. Let's all enjoy this friday afternoon - I'm going to eat some food and drink some coffee and smile a lot.
